Get Involved

There are several ways to contribute to Health Equity Initiative and, most importantly, to making progress towards health equity!

Below are some ways you may able to contribute to our mission!

Register

Health Equity Initiative seeks to facilitate a social movement in support of health equity!   Registering with our website is the first step to becoming part of this movement. Please register to receive timely news and information about HEI’s services, events, and publications.  With the exception of some U.S.-specific programs, our services, training events, communication resources, and publications, seek to contribute to advancing health equity both in the United States and globally, so no matter where you live, we want to keep in touch!

Health Equity Exchange

The Health Equity Exchange is a space to voice comments,
ideas, and questions related to health equity.

We want to hear about your communities as well as your input on strategies and priorities that may help advance health equity in your cities.  Your opinion is important to us and may help shape our programs as well as the programs of our partners and others who work in the public health field!   Health Equity Exchange is specific to the United States and seeks to promote the involvement of different ethnic, vulnerable and/or under-served communities across the country!  Please share your ideas with us!

NB To access Health Equity Exchange you need first to register with our website.

Volunteer

HEI is always looking for talented individuals who want to volunteer their time and expertise to advancing our mission.  Please go to the Volunteer section of this website to view current openings.

Career/Internship Opportunities

Interning with HEI is a great opportunity to use and expand your skills with a team that is passionate about advancing health equity. Interns will gain valuable experience working within a strategy-oriented non-profit. We generally seek graduate students or advanced level undergraduates. Internships can count towards school credit and internship/fieldwork requirements.
