Innovation Think Tanks and Mind Maps
The 2018 Summit’s Innovation Think Tanks reflected Health Equity Initiative’s commitment to innovation and community and stakeholder engagement. The Think Tanks provided participants with an opportunity to reflect on the Summit’s four main topics and/or their own experience with these themes, co-develop solutions to common challenges, and jump start a process that ideally would help establish new collaborations or strengthen existing partnerships.
The Think Tanks each focused on one of the following four topics just as the rest of the Summit:
Facilitated by experienced leaders in a variety of cross-sectoral fields and disciplines that are key to the health equity movement, the Think Tanks relied on strategies and methods for participatory planning and human-centered design to elicit information exchange and consensus building among summit participants.
The Mind Maps are included under Resources and reflect the mind associations and ideas participants in each Innovation Think Tank shared with fellow colleagues and leaders. They are included by theme, and can be freely used and reproduced for non-commercial purposes only with the following citation:
