Radhika Ramesh
Radhika Ramesh, MA, has worked at the intersection of global public health, communication and research, on various topics, including preconception health, infant mortality disparities, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. She currently serves as Senior Editorial Assistant at the Journal of Communication in Healthcare: Strategies, Media and Engagement in Global Health.
As a freelance senior program manager at Health Equity Initiative, she has provided support on partnership management, program development and implementation, event management, and writing/editing on a variety of projects, and various events to raise organizational visibility and/or to increase awareness of health inequities and their root causes. Radhika previously served also as HEI webmaster. She also conducted secondary research and provided editorial support for an academic book on Health Communication-related theory and practice.
Radhika received a Master of Arts in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University, where she focused on health communication. Radhika earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from University of Madras, India.
