Volunteer Facilitators/Presenters for Upcoming Webinars and Online Modules - Virtual Opportunity
Health Equity Initiative (HEI) is seeking volunteer facilitators to broaden the list of its offerings and perspectives for online training modules and webinars. Volunteer facilitators join a team of highly dedicated professionals with extensive professional development and training experience in a variety of sectors.
Volunteer facilitators are asked to develop and record a one-hour online workshop or a one-hour webinar on a topic that is relevant to Health Equity Initiative's multisectoral audience. All topics need to incorporate information and practical suggestions on advancing health equity by addressing key social determinants of health. Online modules and webinars will be posted on HEI's website and will contribute to new upcoming online offerings. Webinars will also be considered as a one-time live event, and recorded for additional dissemination.
These online resources are specifically designed to meet the needs of staff and board members of US and international organizations from multiple sectors, as well as community leaders and government agencies that have an interest or experience in health equity issues.
We are seeking facilitators who are experts in their field and have experience with leading seminars or participating in the development of online-based modules. Volunteer facilitators may suggest their own topics based on their areas of expertise.

PR/Media Volunteer Specialist
Health Equity Initiative is seeking an advanced level PR/Media Volunteer Specialist to assist with upcoming publicity efforts, promote awareness of health equity, enhance branding, secure donations, as well as support membership recruitment efforts. The volunteer should be a seasoned PR professional who has a strong network of local and national media contacts and can pitch stories to both national and local media, and can achieve highest visibility in print, broadcast, TV and online media.
We need someone who:

- Has excellent research, writing, and editing skills
- Has strong interpersonal skills
- Can think creatively
- Is self-motivated and can work from home/virtually
- Has an acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
- Has a strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
- Has time available to dedicate to ongoing PR work with our organization
